Use visuals and examples to help them understand how their own mind works.<\/span><\/p><p><strong>Enjoy The Process, Not The Outcome<\/strong><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A growth mindset doesn\u2019t see the final result as the be-all and end-all. It\u2019s more focused on enjoying the process that leads you to the result. Instead of praising the result, praise the process a child took to come to that result.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><strong>When They Make Mistakes, Get Excited\u00a0<\/strong><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Show your preschoolers that a mistake isn\u2019t anything to be upset over. In fact, it\u2019s an opportunity to learn what when wrong, so they know better for next time to try it differently. Make mistakes a positive learning experience.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><strong>Change The Narrative<\/strong><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A child with a fixed mindset may say things like, \u201cI can\u2019t do it because I\u2019m not\u2026\u201d or\u201d I don\u2019t know how.\u201d Gently remind them that with a growth mindset, they CAN.
